Travel with Jetpets
Next year I’m hoping to travel interstate with my family for a couple of weeks and, while it’s exciting choosing a destination and researching accommodation options, there is one element that gives me anxiety just thinking about it: What to do with our dogs?
Two kelpies cooped up in a kennel doesn’t sound much fun (for them or me) and finding a friend to house-sit isn’t easy when everyone has their own families to take care of. Also, there aren’t many places that welcome pets – or so I thought until I came across Jetpets.
In addition to providing domestic and international pet travel services, Jetpets also offers a range of packages that include everything from booking flights for everyone to organising pet travel crates, accommodation, and transfers. They even factor in dining options for you and your pets.
Great Ocean Road, Melbourne, Sydney, Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley and Yarra Valley – from rural resorts to inner city boutique hotels, Jetpets takes the stress out of travelling with your four-legged family members.
You’ll find Jetpets transit lounges in Melbourne (Tullamarine), Mascot, Brisbane (Eagle Farm) and Kewdale, WA. Pets are able to stretch their legs in the lounges out of their crates before the flight and, if the flight is delayed or cancelled, your pet/s will stay in the lounges until the flight is ready to go.
Knowing that the pet handlers and fleet are experienced and caring people with qualifications including animal handling, vet nursing and pet behaviourists, certainly gives me peace of mind.
